Isack kohn

Impressions, dreams, prescient visions and prophetic inward meditations.

Isack Kohn’s collage work is a kaleidoscopic and focused lexicon of imagery. Culling through found imagery in the form of billboard remnants, discarded magazines, recycled newspaper, tinfoils, ribbons, and the occasional plastic found objects, Isack’s work stands collectively and individually as an introspective visual treatise on the human condition, a time capsule of socio-anthropological snap shots investigating and questioning a world gone mad, hyper-obsessed, consciously or unconsciously , with ever increasing technological transformation. His images confront the viewer with a beautiful and haunting melange of aesthetic narratives, a call to prayer, reflections on the locomotive nature of humanity, explorations into the often blurry and incestuous nature between art and commerce, labor and capital, inertia and stability.
